Precise Medical Billing Service (PMBS) was founded in 1998 by Lytonya Johnson, CPC, MCS-P, CIMC, CPEDC, for the sole purpose of assisting solo and small group practices to ethically maximize their practice reimbursement through effective, efficient and unsurpassed services, HIPAA/OIG compliance and on-going physician/staff communication and education.

Ms. Johnson has 26 years experience in the medical billing and insurance fields and has previously been employed in several positions to include:  Billing/Office Manager for an ambulatory surgical center, Sr. Coder, Business Office Manager, and Practice Manager for a multi-specialty medical practice, Sr. Claims Analyst and Utilization Review Specialist for a major insurance carrier. And prior to founding PMBS she was employed in the position of Director of National Operations for a nationwide oncology billing service which serviced clients in over 25 states.  She is a Certified Professional Coder, Medical Compliance Specialist and holds a B.S. in Organizational Leadership.

Ms. Johnson is actively involved in several professional medical billing and compliance organizations and currently serves as the Secretary for the Arlington TX Chapter of the AAPC.  She has previously served as the Marketing Representative for the Oklahoma City chapter of the MGMA (Medical Group Management Association), as well as serving on the OKMGMA State board.
